It’s already that time of the year: Fashion Week. For some, saying goodbye to shorts and a tan is a tough process, while in my case, I’m looking forward to high knee boots and cozy sweaters. There are a few key pieces we should include in our wardrobes in order to update our looks and transition from summer to fall.
This year I had the blessing to attend to my first NYFW. As hectic as it was, the energy was incredible, as well as the looks from in and out of the shows. I could still identify a few statements that stayed throughout the summer, like the sneaker trend and the transparent or see-through items.
I created two looks that establish a transition from one season to the other, integrating key elements that completed the looks developing simple, classic, and chic outfits appropriate for a show-stopping event.
Hope you enjoy them, and comment which one is your favorite.
Day one: Classic and Chic
In this look, I combined a pair of blush trousers from Zara from last season, a cropped polka dot blouse with a black belt and a pair of white mules from Jeffrey Cambell.
Day two: A pop of color
For this look, I combined a striped shirt from Express, added a bold touch with a mini skirt form For Ever 21, a black belt from Zara, and a pair of black high knee boots from For Ever 21.
