Recently I have been more conscious of my reading habit and the importance of having it. It has helped me organize my thoughts and find answers to many of my unsolved doubts, which were drowning me in anxiety.
Reading has definitely kept me busy during this quarantine, and luckily, I’ve found some incredible books that have inspired me into not giving up on my goals, especially as an artist. For all of you creators, these are amazing to have in your shelf.
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
I started reading this book to find inspiration for my acting training. I needed to understand my why, and how to keep a clear vision towards the success of my career. It helps you acquire great habits that give you tools to stay more focused.
The Dance of Anger by Harriet Lerner, PHD.
I discovered this book when I mostly needed it during a very difficult time. I used to not understand why I always felt like I chose the wrong fights or the wrong way to express my anger. Lerner helps you see a better way of communicating and putting your ideas forward.
Making Ideas Happen by Scott Belsky
This book teaches you the magic of brainstorming and how to do it effectively to take your ideas to the next level and convert them into concrete projects.
Habits of Highly Effective People
If you need tips to stay more productive and focused to achieve any task, this book is for you. A great read to increase your potentiality to the maximum capacity.
